Herman Miller was able to produce Eames original 1950 Molded Fiberglass Chair safely by means of a less volatile, monomer-free “dry bind” process. Fiberglass finish has the same covetable surface variation and tell-tale fiberglass striation that have attracted avid vintage collectors for decades.

The shells are now pictured with a walnut dowel base (dsw) but is also available with an eiffel base (dsr) or h-base (dsx). Please contact us for more information.
